Providing a Seafood Superstore with a competitive edge through the installation of a Live Seafood Holding System
Project Information
Aquarium Architect have designed, built and installed Live Seafood Holding Systems, Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and Hatchery Systems for over 10 years. We have designed and installed Systems which range from one tank for trial and research purposes to multiple tank systems of 20 or more tanks for commercial applications.
For this project, we designed, constructed and installed a full-featured Live Seafood Holding System for the brand new seafood superstore, Fish Market in Sydney’s swanky beachside suburb, Maroubra.
This live seafood system has been purposely designed to hold Crabs, Crayfish, Lobster and a variety of freshwater fish such as Barramundi. The store benefits by being able to offer its customers freshly caught fish, adding to its stock variety.
We design a wide range of live display tanks which are designed specifically for the holding and display of various types of live seawater and freshwater seafood. These tanks provide an enticing display of live seafood products for purchase or consumption. These displays are usually situated in a Retail setting, such as a Seafood shop or within a Restaurant.
All of our systems are Professionally designed and are Australian made. We build complete systems and also perform retrofits to existing tanks.
The installation of our custom-designed systems will support healthy, live stock via optimum bioligical filtration. All our systems incorporate a biological filter using Oviflow biological media, foam fractionators, ozone generators, oxygen concentrators, monitoring and controll systems, pumps and testing equipment. Improved profits through high product quality, higher tank and export survival are one of the overal benefits of such a system in a retail setting.
Our Live Seafood Systems and Aquaculture systems are designed to host a variety of livestock, e.g. Coral Trout, Lobster, Abalone, Barrumundi Cod, Banded Morwong, Barramundi, Oysters, Yabbies, Scallops, Mud Crabs, Murray Cod, Silver Perch and much more.
